SUMMER means outdoor adventure and there’s no better place to reconnect with nature than Union County.  Here, you will enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and numerous watersports.  Discover the adventurer in you when you hike the Appalachian Trail, reach the top of Brasstown Bald, Georgia’s highest peak, or cycle one of the most popular legs of the Tour de Georgia.  Summer equals excitement in Union County!

FALL marks the peak of tourist season when the mountains of Union County are ablaze with autumn color.  Visitors often look forward to traveling the peaceful backroads or witnessing the most beautiful Richard Russell Scenic By-Way.  There are lots of things to see and do during this most gorgeous time, but if you’re like most leaf lookers, you’ll probably just want to sit back and take it all in.

WINTER is the best time to fall in love again.  Besides, what could be more romantic than a being cuddled up in a cozy mountain cabin with a roaring fire in the fireplace and a hot tub under the stars?  When the snow caps our mountains, it’s a sight you won’t want to miss.
